Day of Clinical Research 2016

The poster presentation contains a newly created section for Stem Cell Research. All posters from researchers with affiliations in Bern submitted within this category are elegible for a special Poster Award in addition to the DCR Poster Prize. The award of CHF 500 is sponsored by our SCRM Platform and will be presented to the awardee at the Platform's Annual Meeting (2016: Joint Cell Therapy Meeting November 23).


The Poster Prize in the Stem Cell Section sponsored by the SCRM Platform was awarded to Michael Perny from the Institute for Infection diseases and the Research of Audiology at the Department of Clinical Research



PhD Student Retreat 2016

The SCRM PhD Student Retreat 2016 was held on September 6th on top of the Gurten mountain in Bern. On behalf of the participants we would like to state that it was again a great success, and we thank everyone for their great participation and work. We hope that the meeting provided you with helpful inputs, made at contribution to the recognition of your work, and fostered your personal scientific network.

A special acknowledgement we want to address once more to Doctor Liane Höfferer and Professor Marcelo Rivolta. Thank you for the great keynote lectures and for sharing your experiences and expertise with us.  We also would like to thank again the SCRM Network Bern and our generous financial supporters for making the retreat possible.

We wish you all the best for your future and hope to meet you again for the upcoming PhD Student Retreat in 2017!

This meeting was organized to give PhD students the opportunity to share their work and experience with each other, but also to profit from interesting Keynote presentations given by experienced researchers.
